On a small square shaped site, the design response identifies the need to avoid building to boundary, maximising site setbacks to create a landscaped buffered layer around the perimeter of the house, with varied garden connections from within.

Floating screens create sunshading and privacy to first floor and living areas. Internal volumes are varied with a large windows that allows daylight and natural ventilation throughout.
