Traralgon House

A new house for a young family which balances the feel of generous
and separate living spaces with intimacy and privacy.

A series of intersecting boxes and planes compose the external form which both clad the house and create outdoor rooms to frame views to the landscape beyond.

The house is arranged around a central north facing outdoor space and is clearly zoned into parents and children’s areas. Three different living spaces between these zones create varied communal spaces for family living and entertaining, filled with natural light and ventilation.

I am very proud of our beautiful home that the team at
Bower Architecture designed for us. After living in our home
for a few years now I still wouldn’t change a thing.
There is a great balance between functionality and style.
