A commercial fitout for a narrow two storey brick warehouse in Richmond. The interior layout was reconfigured to locate services at the lower level to maximize natural daylight to the upper level work areas. A new void cut near the entry allows light from the new roof windows to flow into lower level workspaces and reception area. Breakout areas scattered throughout allow for regions where different workgroups can interact. Existing features such as original brickwork and the steel framework of the simple gable roof are retained and celebrated |
