An L-shaped extension to the rear of an existing weatherboard house, taking advantage of the previously unused northern aspect. A large partially covered and screened deck joins the living spaces together, and allows the entire extension to be fully opened up and used as one room, both inside and outside. Bedrooms are zoned to the original part of the house.  The new roof over the new kitchen and meals area is kicked up to the east, allowing morning light to be captured. This resulting in a changing environment over the course of the day.
